Question
Hi, I have some Catphan images taken during acceptance tests of our Clinac iX. There seem to be two sets of images.
One set has filenames like Proj_0001.hnd (i.e. *.hnd extension which I assume might be the raw projection data). Within this set there is a sub-folder called
ReconstructedSlices?. These images have the extension *.ct
Should IQWorks be able to open these? I noticed an option for "Varian Image Files" in the dropdown list when you try to open files. However, if i try to open either the *.hnd or *.ct ones I get an error loading files message.

Hi Pravin,
Are you getting the files directly from the Reconstructor computer? The *.hnd files are indeed the projection data and the *.ct should be the individual reconstructed slices. In the past when IQWorks has been used to analyse OBI or Acuity CBCT images the slices were first exported from ARIA as DICOM images. However, it should also be possible to load the raw datasets. If you can upload an example of each type of image I'll have a look at them for you.
Best wishes,
Andrew

Thanks for the reply Andrew. I have attached some examples of the two types of file for you to look at if possible. The Varian engineer gave me the files and I'm pretty sure they are directly from the Recon PC as he wouldn't have sent anything to ARIA.
