Question

Is it possible to rotate an image in IQworks and then use an analysis tree on it?

Sorry for the huge delay in answering this question - the notification system failed!

It isn't possible to rotate an image in IQWorks before applying an analysis tree, and ordinarily you wouldn't want to!

This is because as soon as you perform any rotation transform on an image (with the exception of 90° etc) you will have a different image, with each pixel being an interpolation of some sort of the pixels around it.

As the aim of the game is objective analysis of the images, anything that changes the image we are trying to measure is not usually good!

I hope this helps. If you have a specific application where you think you need to rotate your image, let us know and see if there is an alternative way to acheive the task!

Currently, no. It is intended in the future that that functionality should be developed.
